cookie cutter christmas gift card wallet and tags

I hope you have all had a wonderful christmas and hopefully not eaten too much!

Before the end of 2016 I thought I would post the remaining items we made in the build up to Christmas

We made this holder to store a gift card/money using the Candy Cane Lane Papers and cookie cutter christmas bundle.

They were quite simple to create and so we had plenty of time to make a selection of tags too!

Happy Chrstmas - Santas sleigh frame and cookie cutter christmas gift card with chocolates

Good morning everyone and to all those who celebrate Christmas I hope you have everything prepared and are now ready for a wonderful and festive few days!

We created the following christmas scene in our classes a couple of weeks ago. We made it as a card and then each person was given the option to purchase a frame to put it in to use as a decoration to bring out each year or to give as a gift.

I have made several of these in frames and given them to the family as an alternative to a christmas card, all have been highly delighted....

For our last class before Christmas I made each class member (24 in total) one of these gift card chocolate holders as a thank you

There is a place at the top to insert a gift card and some hershey chocolates at the bottom. Again I have made several of these for family and friends and enclosed a shopping card, as an alternative to a present

cookie cutter christmas eskimo and holly berry happiness

Good morning I have another couple of cookie cutter christmas cards to share with you.

As we have made quite a few cute cards recently I thought we ought to make
a more traditional christmas one and used the Holly Berry Happiness stamps

Can you spot the gold embossed band, it was made from a strip of gold card which was embossed with the new Cable embossing folder, just to show you that you do not need to use the whole folder.

A card using the Hang your stockings set which I cased from Pinterest, in which I changed the colour combination.

merriest wishes jar of love shaker card and greetings from santa

I am sharing a few more class cards today

It is not very clear to see from the picture but this first card is a shaker card using fine silver glitter as the shaker element. The jar framelits are excellent for making these type of cards

A couple of cute reindeers made from the cookie cutter punch decoupaged onto some embossed vellum,

The ladies enjoyed doing the resist embossing technique to create this card using the Greetings from Santa stamp set. Thank you Amanda for the initial inspiration.

star of light and merriest wishes cards

I only have 1 class left before Christmas (today) and just realised I have 6 more posts to complete and send of our Christmas card selection made this year.

It has been a hectic few weeks, so looking forward to taking some time out of crafting for the festive season, unless Santa brings me some more craft gadgets to play with...hohoho.

The cards in this post were some of the first ones we made in the run-up to Christmas, using products from the Autum/Winter catalogue and the Star and Light and Merriest Wishes bundles. Some are also listed in the Year End close out sale, available only while stock lasts. If you are interested in treating yourself or as a last minute Christmas gift for someone, they can be found HERE

All cards featured a combination of embossing, stamping and die cutting.

As usual I have listed the productsat the bottom of the page

I have created a new Hostess code  KA7T2BHD   for anyone ordering between £25 and £150 through my online shop and you will receive a little gift in January from me as a thank you.

Christmas stamp-a-stack 2016

This years Stamp-a-stack was as popular as ever, with all ladies making 12 cards, 2 of each 6 designs as shown below.

I ran 3 classes over a long weekend at the start of November on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All classes completed the task in less than 4 hours, which gave us time for refreshments and homemade cake and cookies. Paul even tried to put some christmas music on, but that didnt work, as the ladies thought it was a distraction and too early...Well Ive just realised its now 3 weeks to the big day!

Cookie Cutter Christmas Workshop

One of the first sets I purchased when the Autumn/winter catalogue was released was the cute cookie cutter bundle, co-ordinating candy cane lane designer series paper. washi tape and bakers twine.

I looked on Pinterest and made various samples using all these stamps, punches and papers. When I had them on display in the classes I received lots of praise with many wanting to do a workshop so I arranged a couple of 3 hour classes on two separate Saturdays way back in October making 10 cards in total.

Here are some of the cards we made
