Star of light z card and jar of love

I am very fond of the 'Z' fold cards as they are easy to create and very effective.  I saw this next card on Pinterest and thought how lovely it was, so I can't take full credit.

However like all my cards, I always try to make each one unique and add my own special features.

The stars and swirls are from the 'Star of Light' photopolymer bundle using night of navy and silver inks with the sentiments heat embossed with Silver embossing powder.

I think the sentiment included in the bundle is lovely and suitable for any card you make at Christmas 'May your season be peaceful your New Year be Bright'

For the second card we used the Jar of Love bundle to create a jar of decoupaged flowers. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set with 37 individual stamps which you can build the final image you want in the colors you want.

The 'for you' sentiment is suitable for a variety of occasions such as get well wishes, thinking of you as well as birthdays.

Floral phrases easel and thoughtful branches Christmas card

I know most of you by now are in the swing of making Christmas cards. That said, I am running behind with my blogs and found one last card I did in my class, which I thought I would share first.

This easel style card was made for a wedding but could be adapted for any celebration event.

The card uses the floral phrases stamp and thinlit bundle. Colours can be varied for any occasion. I chose soft suede and very vanilla

Below is the first Christmas card we made for this season to get people in the festive mood.

It is made with the limited edition 'Thoughtful branches' stamp set. The centre background was sponged with island indigo ink with a masked circle to create the moon! The trees were stamped in versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. The set is so versatile that many of my ladies bought the set as a bundle after the class.

For the backdrop on the card I used the 'Softly Falling' embossing folder, on the bottom left triangle which is great for simulating the fluttering of snow flakes.
