blossom bunch punch fancy fold card

Good morning, today I am sharing a fun fold card using the Blossom Bunch Punch, Lots of Labels framelits and love blossoms designer series paper stack.

I embossed a piece of square white card with the fluttering textured embossing folder and stuck it to the back on one of the cards

You can create the flowers from the bunch of blossoms with just one punch. The punch cuts out 3 different flower images. I find punches are a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your cards

The fold was created by scoring a piece of thick white card measuring 14.5 cm x 29.5cm at 5cm, 7.5cm, 10 cm and 24.5cm

I had some fine flower soft in my drawer which I had never used, so thought I would get it out and use some for the centre of the flowers as a change to pearls or rhinestones

Happy Fathers Day

I am wishing all Fathers out there, whether with children, pets, grandchildren etc a Happy Father's Day. As I  won't be there  to say it in person this year  I would like to take the opportunity to wish my dad a happy and relaxing day. I have a few cards in my bag for Paul I am sure there will be one from Tibby (our lovely cat) As you are reading this post I will be sailing around the Bay of Biscay on the independence of the seas cruise ship for a two week holiday around the Mediterranean.

Here is the card I made for my Dad, a pop up z card, there are lots of these designs of cards around on Pinterest. I was inspired by Amanda at the Craft Spa.

I love these types of fun fold cards and i have a couple more prepared waiting for my ladies to create in our next card class in a few weeks time

Swirly Bird sailing boat

Hello and welcome to Linda's craftroom. My share for you today has been created with the new Stampin Up Swirly Bird Stamp set.  What I love about this stamp set is how many different images you can create with it:  Sailboats, kites, flowers, birds, sun, and who knows what else.

The Sailing boat is in Dapper Denim with the sails being stamped off for a bit lighter image and the flag at the top of the sailboat is Sweet Sugarplum.  The sun was created with two of the flower stamps and is stamped in Daffodil Delight. I  borrowed the large brush stroke from Painter’s Palette which is another new stamp set to create the waves which was stamped off three times in Emerald Envy to create lighter images

I thought it was a kind of  masculine card, so I got out the new Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set and co-ordinating classic label punch to create the “Happy Birthday” banner in Dapper Denim ink.  It would also make a great Fathers Day card, or a little boys birthday card by simply changing the sentiments.

Thanks so much for visiting me today the stamp sets
are all available to purchase from my ONLINE SHOP HERE and I would be most happy to be your demonstrator.

Butterfly scalloped tag closure card and birthday blooms

The new Annual Catalogue has now been live for just over a week now and I hope many of you have had a chance to look at all the fantastic new products which are now available to purchase. You can view the catalogue ONLINE here ,by clicking the icon in the left hand side bar, or I can send you a hard copy for the cost of postage.

Today I am sharing a couple of cards we made in the classes,  some of the products used are from the old catalogue before the new one was launched last week

There are alot of elements to this card, first the White base card was stamped and heat embossed with black embossing powder using a couple of the flowers from the birthday blooms stamp set onto the edge. A mask was made from a post it note and placed over the stamped flowers. The whole area of the front of the card was then stamped with the Dictionary stamp in pool party ink. The mask was then removed,  and as it leaves a white space, the flowers were then coloured in with stamp write markers in Blushing bride and Mint macaron. The flowers were fussy cut around the edge of the card

A vellum sleeve was added to the folded edge and a strip of the glitter ribbon was placed on top to hide the sticky strip underneath. An embellished tag was made and attached to the front.  The flowers were treated to some wink of stella but you can't see this very clearly in the photo.

The second card is this really easy and fun closure card using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

A couple of my ladies have bought this scalloped tag topper punch recently and I wanted to show them different ways of using it rather than just for a tag topper.

You can see all the new products in my online shop HERE

Have a great weekend!
