Happy Watercolor Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

I am sharing a couple of cards today, all using new products from the new Mini Spring/Summer catalogue. I wonder if you can spot them all?

Happy watercolor stamp Set, scalloped tag topper punch, watercolour wonder gold washi tape, gold sequin trim and gold bakers twine.

One of my favourite items from the catalogue is the new scalloped Tag topper punch. (£20.95 item no 133324) It creates a tag or topper any length you want! Makes creating bookmarks, tags, belly bands and bag toppers quick and easy. I trimmed a piece of cardstock to 2" wide and then punched the topper. It cuts the corners perfectly and even punches the hole right in the centre

For this card, the flower image was stamped on the tag first and then again separately so it could be decoupaged on top, adding some depth to the tag

I hope you like these cards today and please remember all the new products are all available to purchase from my Online Store

Postage Due Postcard and Secret Garden Twisted easel card

Happy Monday to you all, I hope you all had a great weekend, although the weather wasn't brilliant and it seemed to rain for most of it.  It was my husband's birthday and we all had some family time together and enjoyed a meal out on Saturday evening to celebrate.

Back to crafting and today I am sharing last weeks class cards.  I chose a couple of stamp sets which I had been looking at in the catalogue for quite a while and eventually purchased them as a Christmas present to myself!!

The postcard stamp is a very large all occasion stamp and is great for backgrounds. We stamped it on to very vanilla card with soft suede first and then the Postage Due stamp was inked on top with always artichoke. We then randomly sponged Pistachio pudding and crisp cantaloupe over the image.  Bakers twine was wrapped around the card and fastened with a button made with the simply soft clay and button mould

The second is a Twisted easel card. I really like these types of cards
and chose beautiful spring colours of so saffron and wisteria wonder with a hint of pool party and pear pizazz.

Secret garden stamp set was used for the main card and the sentiment is from the layered labels and co-ordinating framelits

That' s all for today.

Remember Sale-a-bration starts tomorrow  so all the NEW products featured in my recent blog posts will be available from my ONLINE SHOP

Sneak Peek Sale-a-bration 2014 Day 2

I am back again with Sneak Peek Sale-a-bration Day 2.  Today I am using Three FREEBIES from the Sale-a-bration promotion to produce the 1st card.

I have used the Banner Blast stamp set and co-ordinating punch along with a sentiment stamp set called 'See Ya Later'

I have chosen a colour combination of pistachio pudding and crisp cantaloupe. The small flower stamps in the set co-ordinate with one of the flowers in the itty bitty punches

The next card is quite a simple design and I have just used the encore metallic gold ink pad to stamp and punch the banners. The beautiful gold bakers twine and watercolour wonder washi tape are from the new occasions catalogue

There are only 3 days to go until the promotion starts, I wonder what will be on your most wanted list?

Thanks for looking

Sneak Peek for Sale-a-bration 2014

As mentioned previously I have been busy making lots of cards and papercraft items with products from the upcoming new occasions catalogue and Sale-a-bration.   You could earn the products for FREE from 28th January.  One FREE product is received with every £45 spent.

The 1st Card I am sharing uses Two FREEBIE Stamp Sets called Your'e lovely and Petal Parade. I have used beautiful spring colours of crisp cantaloupe, summer starfruit, pool party and pistachio pudding together with the Petal Parade stamps to create a decorative strip for the centre of the card and edged the sides with scalloped edge border punch in summer starfruit.

The 2nd Card  uses Two FREEBIES again, the Petal Parade Stamp Set and Sweet Sorbet Designer Series paper.  This 12 x 12 paper is absolutely gorgeous and is even more lovelier than in the brochure.

I have also used one of the tea lace doilies, cut it in half and placed one on each of the cards

That's all from me for today, I will be back tomorrow with some more sneak peeks to tease you with.

Envelope Punch Board Class

I love my envelope punch board. It has become one of my favourite new tools.  It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes. The measurements are provided in both inches and cms.  It is very easy to use and is small and lightweight so it stores easily and you can take it with you on your travels and use anywhere
http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133774&dbwsdemoid5003138

It comes with its own scoring tool that is stored in a convenient storage slot. As well as a punch it also rounds corners

At only £17.95 it is an absolute bargain!!  SHOP HERE

Whilst playing with the envelope punch board I was surprised to find there are so many other things you can make with it not just envelopes. I have created cards,  gift cards, file folders, and a wide variety of different boxes.

I have planned a couple of classes to be held on:

Saturday 1st February 1.30-4.30 pm
and
Monday 3rd February 10.00am - 1.00pm

You will make 7 fabulous projects
(one of the projects is of course, an envelope)
to show you how amazing this tool really is

The cost of the class is £30 and includes an envelope punch board and half a pack of NEW Retro Fresh designer series paper from the new mini catalogue plus embellishments. If you wish to take the class without the punch board you can attend for £15

If you would like to join us in making these projects, please let me know by

 Sunday 27th january

so I can place an order ready in time for the class.

Gorgeous Grunge

Welcome to my blog this weekend.  Whilst my husband has been away in Saudi Arabia on business for the past 3 weeks I have been very busy crafting away in my little craftroom playing with all my NEW  Stampin' Up! goodies which I  pre-ordered from the Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-a-bration.   The new mini catalogue is being released on January 28th, the same day as Sale-a-bration starts, which is Stampin' Up!'s best promotion of the year. For every £45 you spend you will be able to choose a free products!

Here are the cards we made in the classes a couple of weeks ago...

I apologise for the quality of the photos, I kept forgetting to photograph them in daylight.

I have been wanting the 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set for a while and was delighted when it was one of the stamps we were given at Convention.  As we have been concentrating on Christmas since then it never got inked up until a couple of weeks ago.   It is an absolutely fabulous stamp set and I will be using it on a regular basis for now on. There are 5 background stamps in the set with various splodges and stripes

I have been asked to make more cards for men, I, like many others find mens cards very hard to create. I think it is because you can't add any pretty embellishments like butterflies and flowers

I chose Bermuda Bay, smoky slate and black colour combination for my masculine card along with the retired stamp set 'need for speed'. The black lines under the car are again from 'gorgeous grunge'

That's all for now, I am just off to get things ready for tomorrow's class

Chocolate treat holder

I have a little gift to show you today.  This super cute chocolate holder. I CASed the idea from Lyn, one of my team members who gave me a similar one as a swap at Convention. Thank you Lyn for your inspiration.

These would be great as wedding/party favours, as you could easily match the party colour scheme.

I have used season of style designer series paper, cherry cobbler red cardstock, curly label punch,1 1/4" circle punch, baked brown sugar ruffle stretch trim and cherry cobbler seam binding.  There are several tutorials on Pinterest if you are interested in making some of these yourself.

All of the above items can be found and purchased from my online SHOP HERE

One of the great advantages of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that you can pre-order products a month before a new catalogue is released.  Our new Spring/Summer Catalogue is due to start on 28 January and I have received my pre-order this week. I can't wait to have a play with some of my new goodies this week so watch out for some 'sneak' previews coming soon.

cracker gifts

Hi everyone!

These are the table favours which I made for my family  for our  Christmas Day Lunch. Each cracker had a Lindt chocolate bear placed inside.  I originally saw the crackers at Convention in November and were inspired by them.

The crackers were very easy to make with the new Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board!  I had purchased one of these a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to play with it.  The envelope punch board really is a versatile piece of equipment. The board can be used not only to make envelopes, but also boxes in a variety of shapes and sizes and other 3D items such as crackers.

Each cracker is made from a single sheet of one of the papers from the designer series paper stacks.  I chose two different patterns from the 'Winter Frost'  Each sheet measures 4.5"x6.5".

The scoring measurements are: 1", 2", 3" and 4" on the short side, and 1", 1.5", 2", 4.5", 5" and 5"5 on the long side.

Simply score, punch with the envelope punch board and stick.

Envelope punch board  133774   £17.95

You can make a cracker in just a couple of minutes. I decorated mine with some silver ribbon and embossed die cut snowflakes using the Festive Flurry Stamps in Coastal Cabana ink

As well as using the crackers for table favours, they could also be given as special gifts. Items such as make-up and jewellery could be hidden inside
