I can share another birthday card today. It was my nephews 10th birthday yesterday and he supports Arsenal. I made a card for his birthday using red and white colours. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the card before I sent it but this is a similar one.

Footballer Square Card
I stamped the image of a footballer and coloured it in using Stampin Up markers in Real Red and an aquabrush. I covered the image with glossy accents to make it look 3D.   I cut the frames out with the Big Shot and framelit dies. The sentiments were punched out with the curly label and word window punches. The patterned paper is designer series paper

Here is another card with the same image but as an A5 size card.  I used the framelits again but sliced off the two sides to make the shape
Footballer A5 card
Mens and boys cards are more difficult to make than ladies cards as you can't embellish them too much or put any flowers on them!!

It was a special birthday on Satuday for my Auntie and I made this special card for her

The colours I chose were whisper white, wisteria wonder and pear pizazz and used the wonderful new Stampin Up framelit dies, edgelit adorning accents and embossing folders for a beautiful effect. I

I embellished it with my favourite butterfly beautiful wings embosslits, itty bitty flower punch, pearls and whisper white organza ribbon. I love the butterflies and seem to use them on everything!

I will be back tomorrow with photos of another card

Regional Training Swaps

I attended my first regional Stampin’ Up training event at Leeds yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. There were over 75 demonstrators from our region at the event and the creative ideas and knowledge was fantastic

We all made some cards prior to the events to swap with one another, so that we can share our ideas and skills

I produced 20 swaps in total. The little handbags were made using the new framelit dies and apothecary art stamp set in either pink pirouette or pretty in pink and baja breeze. I enclosed a packet of fun size smarties inside each of the handmade bags.

Thank you to everyone who shared their swaps with me.

One of the requirements to attend the Regional Training was to make our own name badges to bring with us. I again used the apothecary art stamp set and framelits dies along with the gorgeous pink pleated satin ribbon. All these products are from the Stampin' Up summer mini catalogue.

New Scrapbooking Class

Hello Everyone

I held my first scrapbooking class last evening and it was very well attended.  We all had an enjoyable evening and managed to get away with very few happy accidents!! At one point there was silence across the room as everyone was concentrating on cutting out the flowers!  Each lady went home pleased with their creation. This is what we produced.

We used So Saffron card and inks, along with Bashful blue, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink. The squares were cut from some sheets of designer series paper. The stamps used was an all time favourite Vintage Vogue  with embellishments made from Beautiful Wings embosslits, buttons and brads

The next card classes will be held on Sunday 20th May or Monday 21st May, 10am - 12pm in which we will be using the baby wipe technique to create two gorgeous cards

The next scrapbooking class is on Thursday 7th June from 7pm - 9pm
I am quite willing to put on an extra scrapbooking class during a daytime if that would be more convenient for anyone.

If  anyone would like to reserve a place on any of the classes or interested in a scrapbooking class during the day please contact me

Thanks for looking

3D Boxed Framed Project

Hello everyone,

I have been busy for the past week working on a project for our Tuesday craft group with Tracey, Anita, Margaret and Beryl. I have seen similar ones on a few craft websites which inspired me to create mine. I have made two different frames,  one for the Family and the other for a Baby Girl, but they can be adapted to suit all occasions.

Most of the embellishments are made with Stampin Up products

If you are interested and would like to attend a class and make one of these gorgeous 3D boxed frame pictures yourself,  please get in touch with me and I will make arrangements and set up a date

However,  if you would like to purchase a completed one please contact me and I can make a personalised one to order.

Thanks for looking

Stampin' Up have released their new summer catalogue today and it is full of exciting things. One of them is the new simply scored scoring tool. The base board easily accommodates 12 x 12 paper and card comes in inches. You can also purchase separately a metric conversion plate and a diagonal scoring plate for making envelopes easily, creating multiple projects or projects with a variety of score marks!

The new framelits and edgelits dies are absolutely fabulous These are wafer thin dies that enable you to cut decorative edges quickly and easily. These all co-ordinate lovely with the textured impressions embossing folders and Bordering on Romance stamps.
