Last card class 2011

Hi Everyone

I held the last of my Christmas card classes on Sunday 27th November and Wednesday 7th December for 2011 and what great fun was had by us all

I wanted to leave myself most of December with time off so that I can catch up on lots of other things that I need to do at home - first thing being making my own Christmas Cards together, of course, with Christmas shopping

Here are some of the photos of the cards we made using Stampin' Up dasher, serene snowflakes, season of joy and heard from the heart rubber stamps and card stock.

There was also an extra treat for all class members as there was some time left at the end of the session. We made a cute little gift box which holds a small box of after eights. The box is based on an idea shown to me by my team leader, Zoe, at a recent meeting. Everyone in the class thoroughly loved making the box and using the Polar Party rubber stamps. I apologise that the photo isn't too good.

If anyone would like to purchase any items from 'Stampin Up' please contact me for further details. I will return with details of the new classes for 2012

New Idea Book and Catalogue 2011/12

The much awaited 2011 - 2012 Stampin' Up Catalogue is now here - bigger and better than before, with loads of new goodies.

CLICK HERE to view or on the photo on my sidebar

Some of my personal favourite new items include:

  • This year’s in colours Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder).
  • a greater range of dies and Big Shot accessories.
  • lace ribbon border (p116) –
  • fabric (p105)
  • antique brads (p109) –
  • Gorgeous new ribbon and lace
  • Speciality designer series paper

… and lots more but don’t take my word for it. Take a look for yourself.

There are also great new hostess benefits we no longer have the tiered system so good old hostess levels are GONE!! Instead the hostess simply receives a £ amount based on the totalling sales. She then is free to choose how to spend her money, on hostess exclusive sets or on catalogue items of her choice. This is so much more flexible. A total order of £150 will ensure you can still afford the most expensive hostess set in the book if you so fancy it, no longer you need to spend £600 to get a bigger more expensive hostess set. Check out the new table of hostess benefits

If your workshop reaches £300 in sales you get £50 credit to spend as you wish and you can also choose to get any item in catalogue at HALF PRICE!!

If you have any questions or would like to have a chat about hosting a workshop or placing an order, please get in touch on: lgilbert66@gmail.com

My 1st Stampin' Up Workshop

Some photos taken at the workshop

Welcome To My Blog

I have been enjoying other blogs so much that I have decided to venture out of my comfort zone and create one of my own. Since this blogging is all new please be patient with me, I am learning one step at a time.

I have just signed up as an independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator and my blog will hopefully bring you some ideas for papercrafts and to share some of my creations.

I held my very first Stampin' Up workshop in the local village hall last Sunday. Although I was very nervous at the beginning i had tremendous support and it was great to see so many familiar and friendly faces. In total 32 people attended the workshop throughout the two sessions and although at times it seemed hectic everyone had fun. A raffle was drawn for a Stampin' Up stamp set and this was won by Margaret Chapman -a very pleased lady who has never made a card before today

After drinking cups of tea and coffee and eating gorgeous hand decorated cup cakes they all went home with a lovely hand made card.
