As we enter the final few days of Sale-a-bration (ends 31st March) there are a few items that are running out or have alread gone so Stampin' Up! have add a few new selections to choose from.
You can see the new Sale-a-bration goodies HERE.
You must use the special code as detailed in the flyer as opposed to the usual item code to get one of these items FREE with a £45 spend.
The other sale-a-bration items available can be seen HERE and HERE
(Please note at the time of posting this blog the glimmer paper and card tin have already sold out)
The three most popular freebies my customers have ordered from the sale-a-bration brochure are the delicate details and avant garden stamp sets and the metallic ribbon. All three of these were used in the following card we made in the class a couple of weeks ago.

The  oval shaped lace was a little tricky to create but we all mastered it. We gently eased one of the lace stamps into an oval shape onto my acrylic block. With a pencil, we marked on the piece of card the oval shape we wanted to create around one of the stitched shaped oval framelits and stamped it in crumb cake in two halves around the pencil mark

You still have a few days left to join my team during Sale-a-bration and get one of the best deals. For £99 you will receive £130 of Stampin' Up! products of your choice, plus 2 FREE stamp sets of your choice (any value)

Whilst you are a demonstrator you receive a discount on all your purchases, get to see the NEW catalogue 6 weeks before anyone else and able to order selected products from that NEW catalogue before anyone else.

Colour Challenge

I am a member of the Tantalizing Stampers group and each month one member sets a challenge for the rest to create a project, it can be a card, scrapbook page or 3d item. It is my turn this month and I set a colour challenge. The colours to use were Very Vanilla and Whisper White and at least one embellishment.

This is the card I created as my inspiraton for the challenge.

I used one of the  gordeous new lacy so detailed thinlit dies as the main focus of the card and die cut two of the flower dies from the stylish stems set one in blushing bride and another in very vanilla and stuck one on top of each other to form the flower with a large pearl as one of the embellishments

Beautiful you pop 'n twist card

We all enjoyed making the Nailed It pop 'n twist card seen HERE a few weeks ago so much that I continued to make a few more different ones. As the Beautiful You stamp set was still out on my desk, I created the following using the floral boutique designer series papers

The ladies dresses were a little tricky when paper piecing but it was worth the fussy cutting.

A belly band was created to keep the card together using the new so detailed thinlits

A few of the ladies made their card into beautiful Mother's Day cards

Sale-a-bration is coming to an end on 31st March which means all those lovely free items will not be around for much longer!

Beautiful You and Nailed it

I have used the gorgeous new Beautiful You Stampin' Up! stamp set from the 2017 Spring/summer catalogue to make the following cards to share with you today.

I have teamed them up with the Floral Boutique Designer Series papers and paper pieced the dresses in the same/co-ordinating papers to get a variety of different cards

The beautiful silver metallic ribbon which is one of the FREE  products from Sale-a-bration when spending over £45, was wrapped around the bottom of the card.  The sentiment and one of the ladies from the set were stamped onto a couple of the oval stitched shaped framelits which are once again back in stock!

Another card made with the Nailed It Bundle for all those handy people in your life?

I have combined it with a strip of paper from the Urban Underground designer series and a piece of Dapper Denim which has been embossed with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured embossing folder. I die cut the square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and stamped the screw, nut and tacks randomly from the stamp set to create a background for the screwdriver, hammer and ruler to sit on

Nailed it Pop and Twist Card

There are lots of pop and twist cards on the internet and I studied quite a few You Tube videos before attempting to make one of my own for my husband's birthday. Although they look very complex and intricate I was quite surprised at how easy they are to construct.

I showed the card to my class last week and they all loved the design and requested to make one too!

There were quite a few elements to the construction but we did it in stages and it all went smoothly.  The ladies were all very happy with their pop and twist creation!!

We created our own background paper by randomly stamping various sizes of card with the tacks, screw and happy birthday in smoky slate, basic black and delightful dijon inks

The tools were stamped twice onto delightful dijon and smoky slate coloured card, die cut and then paper pieced together.

Bloomin heart valentines and beautiful you

Last weeks theme was love and romance which I thought was very appropriate seeing as we were fast approaching Valentine's Day.

I am sharing our cards we made using the Bloomin' Heart thinlits die and a variety of other flowers and heart dies and punches

The ladies had fun creating their cards as I gave them various options on whether they wished to use all the flowers, hearts, bows and sentiment in their design.

They were all very unique and lovely and for those not wishing to send valentine's cards were ideally suited for anniversary, wedding and engagement

A quick card was required to finish the class so we used the dancing lady from the Beautiful You stamp set and co-ordinating sentiment.  The new watercolour pencils were used to colour in the hat and dress and some wink of stella to give it a little sparkle and a band of ribbon around the card

A very simple, but classy looking card  which can be completed in minutes
